I've tried the first three and can't figure out a solution.
If I choose this option I am presented with some choices. But only windows 10 shows up as an operating system. Then a screen that's blank except for a background (that looks like a windows 7 style background) that says system recovery options.Īt this point it says I can 1) use recovery tools to fix problems starting windows. First I get a screen that says windows is loading files. I tried to then attach my external drive that had my old windows 7 system on it that I used to migrate on to my new hdd with the hope of booting through that. And now o am just in a continual reboot loop This repair may take a while, so you should patiently wait it out and try the reset afterward. Choose Startup Repair, and select Restart. When the options screen comes up, select Troubleshoot. I can't remember exactly what they were but I believe one of them was to restore to an earlier point. Open the Start menu, press down Shift, and hit the Restart button. Upon first rebooting I came to a windows 10 looking screen that gave me a few options.
Was stuck at 'resetting this lc 2%' for over 12 hours and now I am in a continual reboot loop.
